Café de Pels is almost hidden within the historic Jordaan part of the city and is a typical Dutch brown café. The Anne Frank House and Westerkerk are within walking distance. A mixture of locals, tourists, students and shoppers all appear to be attracted to this café, either for a quick refreshment or long chat with friends. Along with a varied drinks menu, the café also offers sandwiches.
